About the Barford Heritage Group

Barford Heritage Group

The group was founded in 2005 to research and record the history of Barford, a Warwickshire village. The group received funding to undertake an ambitious project involving the creation of a heritage trail with commemorative plaques and leaflet, a display board with heritage map of the village, a website, DVDs of dramatic productions, exhibitions, oral history recordings and an accompanying book “Becoming Barford”.

The group has also undertaken responsibility for the restoration and maintenance of the iconic K6 Jubilee telephone kiosk and have used it as a display capsule for mini seasonal exhibitions.

We are interested in anything Barford and would like to have your photos, title deeds, documents, or stories. We return originals after digitally recording them.

If you have anything to contribute, or would like to join the group then please get in touch through Barfordheritage@gmail.com
